Industry Leaders in Innovative Biomedical Technology
h2med LLC, Edgewater, New Jersey, was founded by Dr. Ewa Herbst, an expert in the field of biomedical engineering. To date, we have been issued 11 patents for our high-tech solutions and have three more patents pending.
Biosensor-Feedback Platform™
Our Biosensor-Feedback Platform™ is a complete, stand-alone electronic system. With only a software algorithm and appropriate sensors, this platform is easily made into an application-specific device for research and clinical systems. We have also developed a well thought-out path to miniaturization, designed to achieve a System-on-Chip (SoC) solution for handheld instruments or implantable clinical devices.
Saving Your Company Valuable Time & Money

This innovative platform, equipped with a graphical user interface, is intended to significantly decrease time-to-market and development costs for smaller medical device companies. It also allows individual researchers, working on new sensor developments, to begin integrating their sensors into functional device prototypes earlier in the process.
A Wide Range of Applications
The Biosensor-Feedback Platform™ has multiple inputs able to measure and/or combine measurements of several different entities, including: various electrical signals from both standard electrodes and EKG or EEG electrodes; physiological compounds, including various ions and gases; and, when fully developed, changes in the biochemical state of tissues, utilizing various biomarkers.
Potential Commercial & Biomedical Markets
The Biosensor-Feedback Platform™ allows biomedical researchers, biotechnology and pharmacology companies, and physicians to concentrate on their core competencies, while providing a flexible and customizable electronic system for sensor measurement, data analysis and storage, and control of electrical stimulation or drug delivery. This platform is valuable for a wide range of markets, industries, and products including:
- Intelligent Electrical Stimulation™
- Diagnostic Devices
- Point-of-Care Devices
- Treatment Efficacy Optimization
- Drug Discovery
- Research Instrumentation
- Drug Delivery
- Neuro-Stimulation
- Cardiac Rhyth Management
- Tissue Regeneration
- Gene Therapy
- Cancer Treatment
